How much does All-on-4 cost in Mexico vs the USA?
All-on-4 prices in the United States
All-on-4 replaces a full arch of teeth with a fixed bridge supported by four implants. Because it combines surgery, implants, a temporary bridge and a final bridge, it is one of the most expensive treatments in dentistry.
- Per arch: about $11,640 to $27,500, average around $15,176 (CareCredit, April 2026, via NewMouth).
- Fixed full-arch implants at a large U.S. chain: about $19,315 to $30,878 per arch (Aspen Dental 2026 data, via NewMouth).
- Both arches: often $38,000 or more once you add extractions, grafting and a premium final bridge.
Most U.S. dental insurance plans have a yearly maximum of a few thousand dollars, so the majority of the cost is usually paid out of pocket.
All-on-4 prices in Tijuana, Mexico
Medical travel platforms list typical All-on-4 prices in Tijuana at roughly $7,000 to $15,000 per arch (PlacidWay, reviewed July 2025). That is why so many patients from California, Arizona and Nevada cross the border for full-arch treatment. A 2026 CareQuest Institute report estimates that about 9.6 million U.S. adults have traveled abroad for dental care, most often because treatment costs less.
Why is it cheaper in Mexico?
The implants themselves are not “cheap implants.” At Dental Implant Art we use original DIO implants from Korea, each with a certificate of authenticity. The difference comes from everything around them:
- Lower operating costs: rent, staff salaries and malpractice insurance cost far less in Tijuana than in San Diego or Los Angeles.
- An in-house lab: our own digital lab designs and mills your teeth on site, so there is no outside lab markup and no middleman.
- Digital workflow: 3D scans, 3D planning and printed surgical guides save chair time and remakes.
What changes the price of All-on-4
| Factor | How it affects the price |
|---|---|
| One arch or both | Two arches cost roughly twice as much as one, sometimes with a small package discount. |
| 4 or 6 implants | Some patients need 5–6 implants per arch for better support. Each extra implant adds to the cost. |
| Extractions and bone grafting | Removing failing teeth and rebuilding bone is extra work. Your 3D X-ray shows whether you need it. |
| Final bridge material | Zirconia is strong and natural-looking and costs more than acrylic. Ask what material your final teeth are made of. |
| Sedation | Local anesthesia is standard. Sedation, if you want it, may be priced separately. |
Hidden costs to ask about before you book
A low headline price can hide extra fees. Before you compare quotes, ask every clinic:
- Is the 3D X-ray (CBCT) included?
- Are extractions, grafting and the temporary bridge included?
- Is the final bridge included, and what is it made of?
- How many visits will I need? All-on-4 takes at least four visits over about 4–6 months, so plan for travel and hotel nights.
- What do follow-up visits and adjustments cost?
At Dental Implant Art you get a free written quote with a fixed price after we review your photos or X-ray, and a free ride from the border to the clinic and back. See how out-of-town visits work.

Questions, answered.
Quick answers to the questions patients ask most about this topic.
Is All-on-4 in Mexico still cheaper after travel costs?
For most patients from the Southwest, yes. Tijuana is a short drive from San Diego, and we offer a free ride from the border. Even with gas, a few hotel nights and four visits, the total is usually well below typical U.S. prices.
Does U.S. dental insurance cover All-on-4 in Mexico?
Some PPO plans reimburse part of the cost of treatment received abroad. We verify PPO dental insurance for free, so you know what your plan may cover before you book.
Why do All-on-4 prices vary so much between clinics?
The biggest differences are the implant brand, the number of implants, what is included (X-ray, extractions, temporary teeth) and the material of the final bridge. Always compare written quotes line by line.
Is your quote a fixed price?
Yes. After we review your photos or X-ray you get a written treatment plan with a fixed price, so you know the total before you travel.
